Bethany Church, her brother Gabriel and sister Ivy are angels from heaven who have come to the little town of Venus Cove, Georgia to combat the forces of evil that are threatening to asornetto over in this remote setting. These angels have taken human form: Bethany is a year-old high schooler, Gabriel is a something music teacher at the school, and Ivy is their stay-at-home charity-organizing sibling.

All three are ethereal to behold. Likewise, the boy Xavier whom Bethany has come to love in spite of celestial advice against mixing too much with humans hadrs as beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside. All hell breaks loose. Nevertheless, I liked it anyway. And the author is still only just eighteen! For those looking for some YA books that focus on Christian redemption, this is just the ticket.

This is a sequel to Halo see my review, here wlexandra can be read as a stand alone book.

A third volume is in the works, but Heaven knows when it will be adornettk. A gas pedal on a motorcycle! A town called Venus Cove? I would be overcome with hysteria if I tried to adronetto this. I bet this would be something that my daughter would love though, and I think it would be interesting for both of us to read it and discuss it. I am also impressed that the author is only 18! Well, you are a better person than I. I think my time would be better spent reading Nesbo or Ness.

I want to see where the story went after Halo.

You cracked me up with your bullets — hilarious. I love your wit! I wish I could be half as clever as you! Sounds a little silly but I agree with you about it being nice having a book that deals with those morals. Wow re author is so young! I know this book is probably not trying to be hilarious but it sounds that way! I keep seeing this series in Target and trying to figure out whether or not haees buy it.

After reading your review, now I know. I am all for YA books with goodness and morality…but this aledandra too over the top for me. Of course, that might well be just the thing to attract a lot of kids.

Well, it would be hard to mock a book when the author is only I suspect it is probably more true to life YA than anything else. Still, I think I will pass.

Only noting that I have seen the word a lot lately! FUN silly is always better than… annoying-silly? You are commenting using your WordPress.
