Rose is impatient with the way things are done, and sees no harm in using magic her own way. I liked that this books was from Rose her POV.
Morgan Rowlands is a high school student living in the picturesque town of Widow’s Vale. She gave it to her brother, to give to her. At first I groaned at the thought of fate another book diverging away from Morgan.
Not only was she wronged by Diarmuid, she was also wronged by his promised wife, Siobhan’s clan. I loved the continuous tension. I get that we weren’t supposed to like her. To make things worse, strange occurrences begin to happen in Morgan’s presence.
If you start the series from Morgan’s point of view and are following her discoveries of Wicca and it’s relationship to her, it’s a bit of a let down to have tidrnan books told from two other character’s perspectives. The tenth book in the Sweep series is not from Morgan’s point of view. Hunter gives her a silver Claddagh ring, as a symbol of his love and devotion to her. Morgan is undecided as to her feelings for Hunter.
Apart from the above flaws, tiernwn no humor unless you count Morgan’s drinking Diet Coke all the time, which gets tired really fast and no writing good enough to be enjoyed by adults as well a sure sign of a good children’s book. This series is about to get real folks, stay tuned.
